
K.T. Rammohan
K.T. Rammohan is an economic historian pursuing the framework of interdisciplinary political economy. After securing Ph. D from the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, he was a visiting scholar in the Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford. On his return to India, Rammohan worked in the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences Calcutta, Kolkata and in the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram. He later moved to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, where he was Director, School of Social Sciences and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences. More recently, Rammohan has expanded his area of research interest to include history of economic thought and has written on the making of economics as a discipline in India. Currently, he is involved in editing a volume on Keyis, a Muslim merchant community in Malabar.
